MINI GEARBOX & MINI ENGINE BUILDING SERVICE
Hythe Performance Parts offer a built classic Mini engine and built classic Mini gearbox building and fitting service.
Our staff have over 20 years experience building Mini engines for road and race use and have earned a reputation for quality workmanship.
All components used in our engines are chemically cleaned and inspected, the crankshaft is re-ground and hardened. The rotating assembly and connecting rods are balanced. New Camshaft bearings are fitted and new gallery and core plugs are fitted.
We only use heavy duty copper/lead crankshaft bearings which are a must with any hardened crankshaft.
All of our built classic Mini engines are made to order. Making to order means that our customers can specify any special requirements.
Warranty - We offer 6 month / 6000 miles warranty on all classic Mini engines and classic Mini gearboxes for road use. (Terms and conditions are available on request).
Timescales - we aim to have all built engine orders ready within 2 weeks.

- The block is chemically cleaned, inspected & painted
- Crank shaft is re-ground & hardened
- Rotating assembly & connecting rods are balanced
- New Cam bearings, core & galler plugs are fitted.
